Issue Intro

First order of business: Thanks to everyone who contributed to this issue. You are key to making this happen. Keep sending material, it's got a home here.

Next thing: This issue is out a couple of weeks later than I wanted, but for good reason. I've been spending all my free time in the saddle, a good 95% on the SS. Trails have been in phenomenal shape and when we get the rare rain I head out on the fixed gear for a road ride. Riding comes before the site - priorities you know. Anyway, the intention is to publish on an offset quarterly basis with issues coming out around the early parts of the following months: February, May, August, November.

When you're done reading this, make sure you check out Issue #1 if you haven't already.

Shout out what you think - good or bad. riderx@singlespeedoutlaw.com

Here's a few of the things you are going to find in this issue:

  • Product Reviews: Vail Cycle Works frame, Time ATAC pedals
  • Single Speed World Championships report by Jon Wyatt - Don't miss this one.
  • 125 Miles on a fixed gear by Joe Sommers
  • 24 Hour single speed racing by by Kevin Axt
  • Sound Off - Responses from last issue's topic and a new question for you to spout off about. Find it in the Features section.
  • Music - Crank it.
  • Beer - Quite possibly man's second best invention (next to bikes)
  • And a whole lot more.
