Singletrack is going to be buried for a long time around here. Took advantage of the new snow and headed to the slopes last night for some good fun. Encountered some challenges getting there including a detour that led to snow banks higher than the car roof with snow blowing so you could barely see. Nothing as bad as my friend Larry's adventure the past 2 days though. Check his Feb. 10th and 11th entries. Stay safe out there.

Fans of the old Swobo site "How To Avoid The Bummer Life" have surely noticed that Stevil left the party. He's now holding court at All Hail The Black Market which currently is featuring a banner photo taken by yours truly. If you haven't been to his new digs yet, go check them out.
More snow is coming down. We got 30" a few days ago, 10-20 more predicted for this storm. Looks like the singletrack will be buried for a long time to come.

Major snow storm in the Mid-Atlantic has yielded lots of good, deep snow city riding, and a whole lot of digging out. Check Mike Joos blog for some photos of our Friday night excursion as the storm reared it's head. More snow on the way today and tomorrow, 10 - 20 inches is the forecast. It's getting deep!
