It's been a string of snow rides and I'm not complaining. The ankle is feeling good overall, not 100% but it's not holding me back on the riding. Enjoyed laying fresh tracks a bunch of times over the holi-daze, then took advantage of the benefits that come from tracking the trails a few days and having things packed down like a bobsled run. Fast and flowy. Scored a birthday night ride by luck of the draw when our regularly scheduled Gambrill ride just happened to line up with the day I was born.
A couple of more inches of snow fell last night which means heading out tonight for a bit of snowboarding, then biking snowy trails for the weekend. The calendar may say I'm getting old, but I feel like a kid. Get it while it's good.
I recommend checking out the band Kagero. Japanese Gypsy Rock. It's a good time.
